Dedicated to journeying youth to international careers, leadership, and service, Dr. Chonita Spencer, retired school administrator of education and counseling, is a committed advocate for the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
As a UNA-NYC Board Director, Chonita has helped educate youth of all backgrounds throughout the tri-state area on global issues and the United Nations.
Dedicated to advanced education and learning, Chonita is currently an adjunct during her retired years. She’s a graduate of Rutgers University (EdD), Central Michigan University (M.Bus. Admin. Superv.), Niagara University (MS, S), New Brunswick Theological Seminary (CD), and undergraduate degree, from Keuka College (BS).
As chair of education, helping progress youth to careers, leadership, and service require active participation of everyone, committed to embodying this generation and those to come with the necessary education and experiences to realize world goals and world success. Chonita engages in that service by bringing youth to UN student conferences, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Conferences, career talks, and women’s conferences.
