Culture and Connections | Anne Frank the Exhibition

UNA-NYC Members Event *
Culture and Connections | Anne Frank the Exhibition
13 January 2026 | 6:30 p.m.

*** Note: Registration closes Sunday, 11 January, at 6 p.m. ***

Do you think you know Anne Frank’s story? Are you aware of a first-of-its-kind, direct from Europe, special exhibition that has been called a pioneering experience?

For the first time ever outside Amsterdam, the Annex where Anne Frank hid is recreated in full scale, furnished as during her years in hiding, with over 100 original artifacts from the Anne Frank House now on view for the first time in the United States. Anne Frank the Exhibition has drawn extraordinary public demand: tickets sold out within days and the run has already been extended twice. You’ll be part of a rare opportunity to encounter these powerful materials in a more intimate, reflective setting, alongside fellow UNA-NYC members.

Explore, Discover, Connect

On this occasion for honoring International Holocaust Remembrance Day, your immersive journey into Anne Frank’s life and legacy will explore the historical context that shaped her story and the enduring power of her words. In this UNA-NYC Members only evening, you will enjoy a tour of the exhibit, a scholarly talk providing deeper historical and cultural context, followed by a reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres, and an opportunity to continue the conversation with fellow members.

The Center for Jewish History’s intimate, contemplative spaces offer a setting ideally suited for conversation and connection, and this exhibition is a uniquely immersive educational experience. Our collaboration with the Center, a home to major Jewish archives and institutions, highlights our commitment to cultural memory, intergenerational dialogue, and global understanding.

6:15 p.m. | Meetup inside main lobby
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. | Exhibition viewing
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. | Lecture and reception (wine and hors d’oeuvres)
