We cordially invite our members to join us for an inspiring Sunday morning of art and connection — this time at the lovely Neue Galerie on Fifth Avenue! This morning’s private guided tour includes highlights of their permanent collection of “Austrian Masterworks” and "German Masterworks,” in addition to the current spotlights, “Erich Heckel” and "Dagobert Peche: Ornamental Genius.”

With a smaller, more intimate venue than many large museums, Neue Galerie offers a setting well-suited to thoughtful reflection and peer engagement — ideal for UNA-NYC members who are interested in how art, culture, identity, history and international exchange intersect.

Explore, Discover, Connect

The museum’s focus on Austrian and German art around 1890-1940 (including major works by the likes of Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and others) invites conversations about cross-cultural influences, political upheaval in Europe and the role of aesthetics in social change. The Neue Galerie’s residence in a historic Upper East Side townhouse (the William Starr Miller House) provides an elegant backdrop for contemplation, dialogue, as well as networking.

After the tour, we will directly proceed to Café Sabarsky, located within the environs of the Neue Galerie townhouse, for authentic Viennese pastries and refreshments.

Bring a friend or come solo and meet fellow members of UNA-NYC who share your passion for art, culture, and positive change. Let’s come together for an unforgettable evening of Culture and Connections at the Neue Galerie!
